Designing for Life
Create a place of rest and relaxation in your own backyard.
Our Process
-
We start with a complimentary consultation at your home. This is a relaxed conversation where we walk your property together, hear your vision, and discuss how you’d like to use your outdoor space.
➡️ Goal: Understand your needs, style preferences, and budget expectations.
-
After the consultation, we create a personalized concept plan tailored to your property. This includes layout sketches that show planting zones, patios, pathways, and focal features. You’ll get a color rendered plan representation of your new landscape so you can see how the space will flow.
➡️ Goal: Provide a clear direction and options to refine before moving forward.
-
Once the concept is approved, we refine all details into a professional landscape plan. This includes specific plant selections, hardscape materials, lighting suggestions, and irrigation planning. The final drawings are detailed enough for contractors to bid and build from with confidence.
➡️ Goal: Deliver a complete, build-ready plan that matches your vision and budget.
-
While Mosaic Land Designs focuses on design, we don’t leave you on your own. We can recommend trusted local contractors and remain available to answer questions during installation. This ensures the final build stays true to the design and looks just as planned.
➡️ Goal: Give you peace of mind and protect your investment in the design. -
Landscapes evolve with time. We offer follow-up visits to ensure plants are thriving and provide seasonal recommendations for pruning, irrigation adjustments, or enhancements.
➡️ Goal: Keep your landscape beautiful, sustainable, and low-maintenance for years to come.
-
Should you choose to hire a landscape maintenance contractor, we act as your advocate to ensure the design intent is preserved. Through recurring site visits (typically every two weeks), we review progress, provide seasonal recommendations for pruning, irrigation adjustments, and enhancements, and communicate directly with your contractor. A clear written report is delivered to both you and your maintenance team, keeping everyone aligned and your landscape true to the vision for years to come.
